Our Mission & ValuesOur program's mission is to offer students the opportunity to become future leaders. We teach a wide range of skills to develop responsible, honest, and hardworking individuals. As the first Coast Guard JROTC program on the West Coast, located in San Diego, California, we are deeply connected to a city home to many active duty and reserve members who serve in the Coast Guard. Our program focuses on:
|
Community ServiceOur commitment to citizenship goes beyond the classroom. We believe in giving back to the San Diego community through regular service projects, clean-up events, and partnerships with local organizations. We're proud of our cadets' dedication to making a difference.
"I shall endeavor to be a model citizen in the community in which I live." |
Leadership In Action"I will cheerfully fulfill my commitments and obligations and shall endeavor to do more, rather than less, than my share." Our program is built on developing confident, effective leaders. Cadets are given opportunities to take on increasing responsibility, from leading classes, teams, and drills to organizing community events and mentoring younger students.
